Messaging Terms & Conditions

These Messaging Terms & Conditions govern the Sell Your Gadgets SMS/text messaging program (the “Program”). By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on any of our forms, you agree to these terms.

Program description

When you request a quote, schedule an in-store meetup or pickup, or start a mail-in, you can opt in to receive text messages from Sell Your Gadgets. These are conversational and transactional messages about your specific request — for example, your device quote and offer, questions from our buyers, and pickup or mail-in status updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this Program.

How to opt in

Opt-in is optional and is never a condition of selling your device to us. You provide your consent by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent checkbox on a Sell Your Gadgets form (such as the quote, pickup, meetup, or mail-in forms). The exact consent language shown at opt-in is:

“I agree to receive text messages from Sell Your Gadgets about my quote, offer, and pickup/mail-in status at the number provided, including messages sent by automated means. Consent is not a condition of sale. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us (for example, the status of your quote or shipment). You will only receive messages related to requests you initiate.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan. Sell Your Gadgets does not charge for the Program itself.

Opt out — reply STOP

You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time confirmation message and then stop sending texts. You may continue to receive service from us by phone or email.

Help — reply HELP

For help, reply HELP to any message, visit our contact page, or call the store you are working with. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
